LA ORTIGUITA

Copper-Gold project. TNR owns the property 100% and retains 25% interest after the La Mancha earn-in.

STATUS

La Mancha Resources Inc. is the exploration operator, has met all current expenditure requirements, and is working towards earning its 75% interest in the property by spending an additional US$800,000 by July 15, 2011.

Location

La Ortiguita is located in San Juan Province, within close proximity to Barrick Gold's giant Pascua-Lama and Veladero deposits.

Technical Details

The La Ortiguita Project contains five distinct target areas for continued exploration, referred to as the Breccia, La Clarita, Filo Fatima, Filo Fartuna, and the Silicified Zones. Exploration conducted thus far has targeted a porphyry copper-gold/epithermal gold system and has found an arcuate band of silicification approximately 300 to 400 m wide that extends over 1.5 km in length and is associated with an approximately 50 m wide shear zone.

La Mancha Resources Inc. has an option to acquire a 75% undivided interest in the La Ortiguita project.
